Hi,

I will be flying YYZ-LHR in June (on a Friday night), which gives three flights options:

BA0092 departing at 18h (787)
BA0098 departing at 21h40 (747)
BA0096 departing at 23h (777)

Unfortunately the timing for BA92 does not work for me, leaving the other two options. I want to book in Premium Economy (WTP) and am weighing the following factors:

1) I have read WTP on 747s is tired and not worth the cost. However, is there a good % chance I could upgrade with Avios to CW? I have never flown this route and do not know if they tend to overbook. Would I need a certain level of status for this?

2) WTP on 777s is hit and miss, my understanding is that most 300ERs have more recent/refreshed WTP while the 777-200s have old WTP. Unfortunately I cannot find out which aircraft BA uses for this route (BA96). Could someone point me where to look?

Any comments or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Fwiw cannot afford CW outright, even if this trip is for honeymoon. I am making every effort to try the 787 on my return flight, fingers cross.
