With the recent changes to skymiles, I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread about efficient ways to "cash out" our miles balances.

Please post any examples of good value redemption. This is not necessarily about converting skymiles to cash and cash equivalents.

Does anyone have some ideas or examples?
