Currently on a flight to ORD and then heading on to Frankfurt - there is a family that was upgraded to first class bc UA stranded them last night - and they are in complete awe of the service and product (a319). The kids think dad is cool again and mom is embarrassed - it made me remember when I felt that flying first class was cool and not an entitlement....
Every now and then it helps to see things through other peoples eyes....
