Personally, I'd take 4.5 hours in an admittedly uncomfortable A319 J seat over 8 hours in a pod.
My point was less about whether flying from YYT was the better deal than flying from YYZ and more that if you have to fly from YYZ to CPH in J, flying via YYZ actually makes sense. Both TATL flights are overnight, with YYT-LHR leaving at 0040 and taking 4.5hrs or thereabouts followed by an inevitable 2-3hr layover in LHR before onward flight to CPH. I submit that you are likely to get a better nights sleep and be more refreshed by leaving YYT earlier, routing to YYZ & having an 8 hr overnight flight in a pod to CPH. I've done both and preferred the latter!
