Can anyone that didn't receive an email but clicked on the link in this forum and qualified comment on whether they were successful in doing so today (Monday) or yesterday? I am Diamond but when I clicked on it it said I wasn't eligible both tonight and Sunday.

I called the Diamond desk tonight. I learned to my dismay that while Hilton has had my email and contact information for years (I have been Diamond 4 of the past 5), they haven't been sending me any type of promotional emails. I asked if I was targeted for any of these promotions that even many Golds are receiving this past week. She conferred with that department who said if I wasn't opted in at the time emails are supposed to be sent, they have no way of knowing and that there would be nothing they can do (or care to try to do which was clear from the call) until the next promotion.

Obviously, this promotion has been pretty significant and lucrative for many Diamond and Gold members. I am pretty upset and discouraged with the realization that not only am I not apparently targeted for this promotion, I have undoubtedly missed out on many over the past several years. I guess ultimately shame on me for not being aware of the email situation until now but I am disappointed that despite numerous calls and interactions with Diamond Desk reps over the years, no one ever pointed this out to me or asked if I wanted to receive promotional offers. I assumed that they had my email and always send me summaries of my stays so why wouldn't I be receiving special offers also (particularly lucrative ones like this)?

I cannot believe Hilton is going down the path of giving lucrative offers to some high tier Hilton Honors members and not others. I am seriously rethinking any loyalty to Hilton going forward if I don't receive some sort of comparable offer soon. Picking winners and losers from your top customers thinking others won't find out about it or care is a recipe to lose a lot of customers IMO.
