I exchanged a confused look with the lady sitting next to me, and then I got the reference to the whole "deflate gate" thing. I guess the FA thought he would be funny since we were flying to Boston and he assumed that many / most of the passengers would be familiar with the reference. Personally, I would much prefer that my FA's not make jokes referencing anything about the plane I am flying on, but maybe that is just me. I'm curious as to other's opinions.
Absolutely overreacting.
I believe the FA/Pilot:
1. hates cheaters.
2. hates Tom Brady/Bill Belichick.
3. is diehard Seahawks fan.
4. just takes a jab at the Patriots team.
Take your pick.
