I'm torn...no water and no heat for two nights is inexcusable.
But, you didn't approach the front desk/MOD and ask for anything that could be done. Even if you didn't have time to move hotels, perhaps they could have moved you to a room with heat and paid for access to a local gym for showers. It's hard for me to see asking for compensation now when you made no effort to seek a fix while you were there. (Especially the heat issue, as I assume they could have moved you to a room with heat at least.)
Were you warned on check-in that there would be no water? If so, I'd say no compensation. If you didn't find out until you were into your stay, maybe enough points for a one night stay.
