I was just wondering if Gold is too lowly to get an upgrade at Conrad.
Like others, I got upgraded to an Exec Peak view room (from a Standard Peak view room) as a Gold. I didn't need late checkout but others in my party without status had no problem getting 5pm or 6pm. Don't think the hotel was very busy during our stay though.
Agree with ITravelElite though, if you're not given an upgrade do ask about the Exec Lounge as it's a major asset of this hotel and it's definitely worth $30/day.
