I was the beneficiary of a "curtain move" (EC->Saga seat) on my one trip to Iceland. It was nice, but it's such a short flight that the difference is not huge.

Agree with everyone here that it's criminal to just transit through the country as if one were changing trains at King's Cross. It's an extraordinary place.
