I never got these things in J on ORD-AUH or AUH-ORD. Is this flight not long enough? Or was this feature not in place back in late 2012?
How does the turndown service work---will they come by and offer it, or will they ignore me until I ask?
Is loungewear the same as pyjamas?
Correct. This was introduced in early December 2014 "effective immediately" but hasn't been rolled out onto all the long haul flights. My relatives missed out on all those enhancements -except the turn down service when they flew MEL-AUH and vv on Christmas and back in late Jan. Loungewear is just a hip word for pj's.
