ICN is a pretty good sized airport and you have to go through security while in transit. Has anyone done this routing and, if so, is 50 minutes an adequate connecting time?
On a single ticket, 50 minutes is fine (but doesn't leave much or any time for lounge visit). ICN transfer security is fast, even when the queues are long. When inbound flights are late I've noticed airline staff at transit security push short connecting passengers to the front of the queue. Note also that airline schedules are padded - there is a decent chance of arriving well before scheduled arrival time.
