Except that's not what happened here. In post #13, the OP wrote that he was in Minnesota and someone else stayed the same night in California using the OP's MR account number. That is clearly against the rules.
Since it was an innocent mistake and not fraud, the situation was resolved. But, that mistake is reasonable grounds for locking the account and initiating an audit. Additionally, as elva just noted, the OP's booking history is not normal, which likely contributed to the need for someone to investigate the situation.
