I live in LAS and we probably have the loosest liquor laws anywhere. All bars can remain open 24/7. Yes on the strip many clubs offer bottle service which is very expensive. Locals know where to go in LAS and it is not on the Strip.
Back to the price of that drink on DL. You are getting two minis (usually $7 each) plus Starbucks Coffee. $10 at 35,000 feet sounds like a win-win. The FA may not be a trained bartender, but he/she was trained how to present a cocktail, with "Southern grace" - unlike the "flair bartenders" we have here in LAS.
This drink sounds good. I'll give it a shot on DL 1602 on my journey to ATL tomorrow. I will be in ATL to present my top employee of the year a great gift.

And I am not on Undercover Boss. I reward my employees, and I hope DL gives this FA something special for thinking outside the box and creating this cocktail. Why did the LA Times not name the FA?
