As we've discussed in the other threads, an Aeroplan reservation with at least one segment confirmed in J-class seating, is the equivalent of a paid Business class reservation, and as such, is eligible for MLL, and waitlisting (in preference to non-confirmed coupon 'upgraders') for available J space on AC flights.
