The service itself finished after 3 hours in flight and it took a further 30mins until the cabin lights were dimmed. Needless to say, they started distributing breakfast (a single muffin...) 1:30 before landing. if you're light sleeper there's a maximum of 2hrs of sleep you can get.
It's quite exhausting and definitely needs to be improved.
I prefer the normal service, much like I prefer a cooler cabin because people can ignore the service and sleep or wear more clothes / or blankets and we are all happy. Or we can make YOU happy. BA like the lowest denominator and soon there will be no service so one person can sleep.
