LAS-LAX-MCO on an upcoming Friday afternoon. Arrive LAX at 3:10. Depart at 3:45. I am in 1A on the inbound CRJ, but my rollerboard will be pink-tagged.

Anyone with recent experience?
IME, I would never book a connection like that. Besides the gate checking (first on, last off), the LAS-LAX RJ flt does not have a great on-time history. Adding to the pain, you can arrive at T-6 but depart from T-5 (or the other way around).

That said, only one time did I miss a connection. It was the LAX-MCO redeye for the reasons above. Tried to get me on LAX-ATL (nope) but did get on LAX-JFK-MCO.

I always allow a minimum of 90 min. Worst case, a little extra time in the lounge vs getting stuck at LAX overnight.
