Fraud. Call the Chase number on your credit cards and your statements. Do not call any other numbers. Do not email anyone. If Chase customer service does not know of this request, your account has been compromised. Get your Chase cards cancelled and reissued with different numbers.
The first step in any of these situations is to verify if the request is letigitimate.
If someone calls me and identifies themselves as law enforcement, before I answer any questions I ask where they are stationed. I look up the phone number of that location then call that number and ask for the person who called me by name and rank.
