No you just have Stockholm sydrome.

It used to be the case where every company was expected to have a cusotmer service dept where you could pick up a phone, wait no more than 5 mins, not endure a 10+ option phone tree, not have to be transferred, be conected with an actual employee of the company in question with at least a years experience, who spoke native English, was trained on product knowledge enough to know as much or more than you, had the technical ability and authority to complete your request, would follow up or provide confirmation of required.

These days people have been conditioned to experience tears of joy and eternal gratitude to get something close enough to their request auctioned with less than 3 phone calls.
