WTP service pattern on BA15 or: how to get no sleep
I traveled on the SIN-SYD service in WTP recently, which is an redeye with 7h flight time, so more or less comparable to a TATL.
So, one could expect a quite quick service to maximise your sleep.
But, it was the normal service pattern with drinks first and then the full meal service. The service itself finished after 3 hours in flight and it took a further 30mins until the cabin lights were dimmed. Needless to say, they started distributing breakfast (a single muffin...) 1:30 before landing. if you're light sleeper there's a maximum of 2hrs of sleep you can get.
It's quite exhausting and definitely needs to be improved.
