And I'm the opposite. Marriott is moving to M Lounge mode to try to beef up their food/drink revenue. The M Club in DC is open 24/7, but the true exec lounge aspect of it is brekkie daily & the typical evening spring Sun-Thurs night only so similar to other exec lounges. Other lounges in dif properties (and not all are closed on weekends) are also key accessible for sodas, coffee, etc.

I don't normally get to the exec lounge in the mornings, but I do use them frequently in the evenings so hotels without lounges or, as the JW decided to do, to close it, are not normally on my list. If I have an option of a property with an exec lounge & one without & prices are similar, the one with the exec lounge gets my bizness. So, while I won't be in DEN any time soon, the JW definitely goes off the list. I feel the same about properties (such as the DC Marquis that also has the M Lounge) that are dropping room service. I do order room service at a hotel & so those that don't offer it or have the 'microwaved food in a brown bag with plastic cutlery) won't get my bizness either.
