I understand how this could be distressing for people, but it has almost no impact on me. Despite being a Gold/Plat for nearly a year, I’ve only been in a lounge 3 times. And I don’t see any trips in the next year where I’d be in one either.

As a leisure traveler I only travel on weekends and holidays, when the CL is closed. Or I’m at a resort, Ritz, or CY/SHS/FI. The reduction of a free breakfast to a $15 credit upsets me though. That’s hardly enough to cover breakfast at most hotels in urban areas. Guess if I combine it with my whopping $10 PAG I might be able to eat a breakfast buffet once while I’m there.

I do LOVE the M Club though. I experienced it at the DC Marquis and it was great – open 24/7 with snacks, water, soda, etc. It seems their snacks are less than what other “real” CLs offer, but since I’m never in those the M Club is a huge upgrade for me. I hope more FS MR’s incorporate them.
