i transfered a ton of SPG points to ANA to buy a pair of biz class seats, IAD-TOKYO.

took less than a week for transfer. there is a minimum transfer. SPG points can be purchased on the SPG website.

you might look into some of the credit card sites to see if they transfer into ANA
