Maybe try domestic T-Mobile for LTE first and swap for Verizon PrePay sim as needed? Depends on if you'd find it more frustrating to get local sims overseas (though you also have the AT&T grandfathered international roaming business plan, right?) or swapping out a tablet sim domestically.
