I had a similar situation on my flight to Vancouver last week; I took 1A out and 62A back. The plane had the OldFirst - and rather tatty and not as comfy as CW imho - not to mention the really old IFE from 2000, so I returned in the CW bubble; which I thought was much better than the OF seat.

I did keep an eye on the aircraft in case it was NF; in which case I would have switched. Sadly not to be.

The seats in OF are pretty knackered and I saw many had issue with reclining.
