From what I can tell, all DL-marketed flights earn spend-based miles, except for special fares

According to the
terms at the bottom,
DLXXXX flight always has fare/spend based RDM, even on non-006 stock
Partner flights on 006/DL stock earn DL's fare/spend RDM amounts
Partner flights on NON-DL stock earn partner distance-based miles
So the challenge is to get KLxxxx on non-006 stock if the distance-based earning is better. You could try 016/UA stock for free, but I'm not sure if they have access to all of KL's inventory.
Aren't we saying the same thing? DL ticketed flights on partners earn based on the dollar value of the ticket whereas OAL ticketed partner flights earn based on a percentage of the distance flown.
Since the thread was about non-DL flights, I didn't mention this. Correct, all Delta marketed flights earn based on the revenue model regardless of ticket stock.
Since the OPis looking to avoid DL ticketed flights I assume they are buying a cheap partner flight that will earn more via the percentage distance model than the revenue model.
