The majors really are all equally awful. Have been making the argument to colleagues for over a year to swap over to DL (mostly UA fliers given location, many GS and mostly paid premium cabin travel).

Last night finally got a couple folks onto Delta for a trip from NYC to FLL. Staggerling bad experience that I will try to keep brief
(1) Zero boarding group mgmt/enforcement at LGA
(2) Initial 10 minute delay blatantly understated seeing as arriving a/c didnt deplane until restated boarding time
(3) Almost 3 hours 15 minute rolling delays as LGA dispatch was unable to locate a functional "start cart"; this particular A320's aux power unit had gone out at least one flight prior; took 2+ hours to locate a functional starter.
(4) DL ground ignored our (exasperated) captain's request to pull off "heat cart"(?) that made the cabin so hot that sick passengers nearly rioted demanding that the FA's open all four main doors to cool off the aircraft
(5) $21 for 3 hours of gogo LGA-FLL; so slow as to be unusable.

I'll hold my tongue on items I just assume are going to be mediocre like food, etc, but DL really managed to sheet the bed on this one. No way I'll be getting colleagues to give it another go.
