Everything in J on the A380 is served from the rear galley. They split the service into 3 or so zones, around 6-12, 13-19, 20-26 (depending on the SFS of course) and go from front to back within each one.
In any case, no matter which seat you are in, it's going to be slow...
Thanks for the reply. We're going to be in 9 E/F but obviously from what you said I suppose the seat numbers doesn't matter. Might have to pop to the bar for a quick snack first!
