Is BA Club World worth it?

As a leisure traveller - no, it's not worth a regular fare unless you're cash rich.

I paid under £1000 DUB-LON-ORD-LON-DUB in the recent sale - now that's a good deal, especially as I have UuA'd the outbound into F and 1K on the 747. Return I have 64K on the UD.

Going forward, and ordinarily, I'll pay only WT fares even on a 10 hour run. Why?

Well, if you walked up to a hotel who offered to give me a room with only a reclining chair for £50, or I can have a room with a tiny single bed for an extra £1000, dinner and breakfast included, who here would pay £1000? Each way....?

CW is primarily an executive product anyway. It's not luxury, it's a flat bed with nice food and a faint aura of self-importance. These beds go to key business destinations.

But as I always say, value is in the eye of the beholder. I mean, I've usually paid for Club Europe in the past, which would be open to similar analysis to that which I've posted above.
