Interesting that the commenter doesn't seem to have a problem with a supervisor either lying - even under oath- because he should have known the interaction was on tape or stupid because he didn't realize someone might look at the tape.

Sadly, all too often, this has probably worked just fine for this supervisor - just as it 'worked' this time. He's still on the job, getting paid big $ and retirement and medical benefits. It's the victim of his abuse who was arrested and inconvenienced, not the lying supervisor.
