I do not find that content interesting to read or write about so I don't do it. And, quite frankly, I think it is only marginally related to travel. I'm sure that I've "suffered" financially for that decision but I made a decision a long time ago to write what I care about.

As for who should be blamed for people making bad decisions, there's plenty to go around. Yes, a consumer should be responsible for not overspending and digging a hole. And the people who provide public advice on the topic generally do a horribly incomplete job of such. And then there's me, out on the side, making tools which ease the redemption process so surely I'm part of the problem, too.

I have no problem with Chris Elliott saying that the people selling the CCs need to be more responsible. Consumers need to do the same as well.
