I guess only you can decide what level of risk you are prepared to live with.
Since it's a connection at the end of the trip, I'd probably opt for the last flight back to LON (and maybe book a backup refundable/points hotel just in case there is a delay. I'd also hope for BA to put you on the next day flight when you show up late blaming them for missing the flight).
