With Las Cavas Wine Lodge's holiday rates being higher than many Amans, I'm looking for a more budget friendly lux alternative for a few nights around Christmas.

My search so far has turned up Casa de Uco (the only non-Hyatt Virtuoso property in the area), Entre Cielos and The Vines.

Don't want to stay in town (so no Park Hyatt), would rather be somewhere more peaceful and relaxing, and more intimate than Algodon Wine Estates (no golf resorts).

Would appreciate any insights here, as I've found very limited info about luxury hotels in this part of the continent (most of the hotels suggested in the excellent Argentina forum seem to be more of the high-end B&B variety, but we're looking for a full-service hotel).
