If your additional GOT-LHR is a separate ticket then once you've missed it, it's gone. I don't see BA rebooking that for free because a previous l/h-s/h connection on a separate ticket resulted in you missing the LHR-GOT flight.
Do you actually want to go to GOT? If so, can you include an overnight at LHR in there? SFO-LHR[o/night]-GOT-LHR leaves you a few more options if you're taking an early LHR-GOT
