Your reply made me feel a little better. Its tough, especially when "supervisors" seemingly make stuff up as they went along tonight. "You can only purchase miles via the website." I found that odd since I'm pretty sure that isn't true and the operator did the whole disclaimer thing, asked for my PIN etc before confirming the miles purchase.
Basically, I called 3 separate times to see if I could get higher than the Second Level tonight, each call after the first went like this. Get first person, explain, tell them they can't do much, politely ask for supervisor. 15 minute to 20 minute hold. "I have a supervisor" Another 10-15 minute hold, Supervisor. BRICK WALL. Wouldn't get anywhere before minute 40 really.
Last call I asked if there was someone else to talk to. "There is no one else I can transfer you to." I ask, "Do you have a boss I can contact?" They said, "They only manage employees." "Can you email me contact information from anyone between you to the CEO who may care about this situation?" "There is no one else to transfer you to."
