I'll do the same to someone tomorrow, bringing infant on JQ44 DPS-MEL. Row 1 was full when we booked 2 weeks ago. I'd be surprised if they don't move us from row 2 to 1 at checkin. Probably best for everybody if the baby sleeps the whole flight
