Interesting. By "group booking", is this as it sounds - the agent has booked "as a group" and therefore MY flights might be on the same locator as a "group" of passengers?
The reason this is interesting is because when I queried fare class, they mentioned G, which I understand to be group...
To give some context and purely as an example, if the flights were out to Barcelona to join a Cruise, normally all Passengers doing so would be put on the same PNR.
G isn't just for Groups, but it can be utilised for them more so than other booking classes. Is this a long haul or Short Haul route?
