I made this trip Nov 8th - getting ready to do it in JAN. This is on AA. I'm Plat so I get 100% miles bonus...cost/mile figured with and without Plat bonus.

DFW-LHR = 9500 miles $380 $.04/ml $.02/ml(plat bonus)

DFW-BOS-MIA-JFK-LHR-ORD-DFW = 11,999 miles
$420 $.035/ml $.0175/ml -PLT

DFW-BOS-MIA-JFK-LHR-MIA-DFW = 12,907
(did this in Nov) $418 $.032/ml $.016/ml PLT

DFW-BOS-MIA-ORD-LHR-MIA-DFW = 13,622
$797 .0589/ml .029/Plat

I tried DFW-ORD-BOS-MIA-JFK-LHR-MIA-DFW but it wouldn't let me book this... earned an error msg.

Any ideas?
The game plan it to upgrade with miles going over.. 25,000 -- look for open flight on the way back.

This also earn miles for 4 upgrades which I turn in for 10,000. That drops the cost/mile a little lower.

If you have ideas to make it better, please let me know.
I plan to do this mid-late Jan.
