Hello, first post here, about my first booking ever with QR
Yesterday evening I booked an AMS-DOH-BKK for 2 with my amex (travel date next November) directly on qatar website. Leading passenger was my husband, me the credit card holder/payer.
Final page after payment did not load (timeout error) but I received regular confirmation e-mail and the e-tickets.
Few hours later I received this mail from e-commerce support:
"Dear MR Lefly,
Thank you for booking with qatarairways.com. We have received your booking details and are reviewing your transaction (PNR number deleted)
To complete your transaction please provide additional payment information by submitting the form at
http://qatarairways.com/cardpayment
Please provide this information by replying to this email within 48 hours to ensure we can finalise your booking.
Yours sincerely,
Qatar Airways Support "
Now I'm wondering... Is that a routine thing?
Anyone experienced something like this?
