OP was talking about the bonus miles, which should be RDM we're talking about.

The 9.55PM flight should be UA928 IAD-KWI-BAH, which as a 'direct flight' you'll earn 6,835. It is likely that the system credited the flight as a 2/1 flight since KWI-BAH departs 2/1. Hence, as status went from 1K to Plat, her bonus went from 6,835 bonus to 5,126 bonus (or 1,708 miles short).
I would call MPSC and ask them to resolve.
