Beware that TSA Pre for the Delta gates at EWR is only open during certain hours, and when it isn't open they're usually funneling everyone thru one single line. There is expedited screening for TSA Pre customers when the dedicated line isn't open, but again you are waiting in the same line as everyone else. Sometimes it's quick, sometimes not. Today it took me half an hour.

IIRC the TSA Pre line opens at 3pm in the afternoon.
