I understand people being in a rush and being hungry, but bringing a sack full of fried chicken and fries onto a small plane is pushing it I think. This only happens to me in the US.
Given it is public transport I accept it is my fellow passenger's choice, but would I do it, no. I would bring a sandwich or the like.
How about we define those foods that will not offend?
We (well, some...) seem to have determined that pizza, fries, fried chicken, eggs, burgers, eggs, sushi, fish, curry, anything hot, broccoli, and durian are out. I'd have to think that we would also need to add many cheeses, vinegar, popcorn, many cold cuts, mayonnaise, mustard, basil and most herbs, coffee, many teas, anything stored at any time in a kitchen with garlic, and asparagus.
If we put our collective minds to it, I think we could pretty much determine that no food should ever be brought onto a plane!
