I'm in the same reading boat.

The main AA thread has always been a mix of "when should I apply?" "but aren't the World MC and Platinum Visa different products?" and benefits questions. Some are specific to all programs, some to just AA cards or even just to AA fee-waived cards.

The AA thread has traditionally been the repository of the most up-to-date information on Citi application procedures and the place where it was best documented. However, a lot of that information is relevant to the other programs as well.

I think it would be worth having that information in a sticky at the top of the Citi forum instead of rehashing it in all of the different threads. Here is how to apply for a Citi card (private browser/wipe cache, etc.), here are the contact numbers, here are the minimum waiting periods between cards, this is what happens when you apply for a card before the deadline, etc.
