Just this weekend I shared a plane with a pair of rotund American ladies accompanied by a petite man, who was holding on to a "personal item" of two pizza boxes for dear life (the stewardess gave them a pass when they all decided to HOLD all items of hand luggage for the entirety of the flight).

I am not sure what was in the boxes, but since they did look slightly greasy, I cannot imagine anything else than pizzas inside. In fairness, they did NOT eat board (and they probably couldn't, the lady in the middle was hugging a pile of hand luggage her size).

Why would anybody fly two cold (by the time of arrival) pizzas a few hundreds of kilometres is beyond me.
