As others have said other factors are more important than the choice of airline. For example book a direct routing not one with connections if you can - each connecting airport adds weather risk. If you have to connect, chose somewhere that's not prone to weather delays. Allow extra time and make a back-up plan.. If you're really keen to get there on time buy a flexible ticket, check the weather forecast a few days ahead and change your route or travel days if necessary.
