I have older Tumi Alpha 2-wheel check in luggage that's about 4 years old.

Took more than 20 international trips all over the world (Asia, Europe, Central & South America)

Some of the great benefits of the bag

1. Expandable (Always useful on the way back)
2. It look like it's been only used few times because black ballistic nylon doesn't get scratched, dented, or cracked like a polycarbonate case (My wife has a Rimowa Salsa Dlx that's she bought 2 months ago. After 3 trips, i don't even want to look at it)
3. Wheels are quiet and easy to roll around. The newer models have 4 wheels now and i'm sure they are easier to maneuver.

I know i still have another 5-6 years out of this bag at this travel rate, so I couldn't be happier with the purchase.
