Why do I like visiting Singapore.

-Safety and security. Absolutely safe anywhere you generally go. And you don't have to worry about your family getting mugged or getting robbed after dinner on a street.

-Ease of transportation. Easy to access an MRT system that is efficient and reliable and clean at a reasonable cost. Taxi's are available in abundence and you don't get scammed. Ease of paying cash or with a credit card.

-Good food options for people of all walks of life

-Good shopping for people of all walks of life

-Ease of connectivity to the rest of the world by flight via changi airport

-Best airport in the world

-Good selection of movies and entertainment

-Generally comfortable, warm weather and decent beach's (sentosa/east coast park)

Having said that, Singapore is probably one of the most expensive cities in the world to visit BUT you look at the pro's and con's of cost vs everything I stated above.

Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Delhi are all decent places to visit and each city has it's own pro's and con's like anywhere else in the world...it depends on what you want, what you're expectations are and what you are willing to spend for the 'experince.'

I mean, look, if you can't afford Singapore or don't like the fact it is an expensive island city to visit, there are other options.
