How have you found AS to be in releasing U space ahead of time on the transcons? Do they typically release one or two seats now and again, or is it typically pretty hard to use the guest certs on the longer transcon routes such as SEA-EWR etc.

I realise there's no hard and fast rules here and all subject to revenue management etc. but just curious if anyone has any anecdotal experience with how generous (or not) AS is with releasing any U space. Thanks!
I have had good luck finding U availability using LMOffice Flight Tracker.
