VN Seat Maps / Guide

I'm putting together a seating guide for VN aircraft. My first is for the A321, since this is the most ubiquitous of the fleet, and what you'll most likely see on domestic and regional flights.

As always, exit rows (15 & 28) are preferable. C and Y are separated by a curtain, so you get both extra leg room and underseat storage in the first row of Y (Row 10).

That also means the last row of C (Row 4) could be annoying, from both the curtain itself and the noise.

Row 1 is a solid bulkhead with no cutouts.

One last important note: VN designates the row BEFORE the doors as exit rows (14 & 27) as well, so don't get swindled.

Aside from that, they have been taking new deliveries, and will continue to do so. It's a crapshoot on whether you get one with Airbus's new interior, or one that's been beat to hell and back. Also, the newer planes use a thinner seat (not slimline) so they add an additional row.

Disclosure per FT rules: The links above go to a blog, VNAFlyer, to which I am a regular contributor.
