I'm most often at hotels on my own, but 14-17 Jan, I stayed with a couple of friends. We had 3 rooms, 2 of us plat. My profile requests best view and my friend's, biggest room. I received a deluxe harbour view on the highest non-Towers floor and my friend, a city view suite. Since we were a trio, meeting friends in HKG and busy all the time, we never tried the lounge, so had no complaint. We didn't even look at the plat lounge breakfast as The Cafe's breakfast was so enticing after weeks of US, Brazil and Argentine breakfasts.

The room renovation is OK (bathrooms are quite passe) but the room itself was fine.

Nathan Rd is a minefield, but with subway 100m away, it's still convenient.

My only wish is for a Starwood at Central, as the W's location is no turn on, either and it costs a bundle. Even for points, it was 25k in high season.
