I don't think it really matters if you see AFT cards on the rack. It seems like even if you can find AFT cards to purchase, the Target POS system rejects them with a "DO NOT SELL" message on their screen.
Someone can correct me if I am wrong but I don't think people have been able to register for new AFT cards since the latter half of Jan. And to answer your question, yes I think we are seeing the phasing out of the AFT card in favor of the Redbird....hence why people have not been able to purchase new AFT cards.
